SouthernWorldwide.com – A top advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel, in conjunction with the newly established Board of Peace, is prepared to take decisive action against Hamas if the organization fails to adhere to the agreed-upon peace terms.

Michael Eisenberg, speaking in an interview on Sunday, highlighted that Hamas is currently in breach of a broader peace accord. He specifically pointed to their refusal to surrender weapons as part of the process to “demilitarize” Gaza.

“I believe all avenues are being considered, given Hamas’s non-compliance with the 20-point plan and their failure to hand over weapons as stipulated. We will have to observe the developments. This initiative has been meticulously planned, and significant credit is due to President Trump and his team for their thorough consideration of every phase, from inception to completion,” Eisenberg remarked.

He further elaborated, echoing President Trump’s sentiment that there exists a straightforward approach and a more challenging one. “Everyone favors the easier path, which involves Hamas cooperating with mediators to surrender their weapons. However, if they do not, a more difficult course of action is also available,” he added.

The article also references a previous report detailing President Trump’s convocation of the first ‘Board of Peace’ meeting, emphasizing that the reconstruction of Gaza is contingent upon Hamas’s disarmament.

Eisenberg also conveyed that, according to the 20-point plan agreed upon by the U.S., Israel, and Hamas, Iran must eventually relinquish its influence over Gaza.

“Hamas continues to maintain its presence, yet the 20-point plan explicitly prohibits their involvement in governance and prohibits them from bearing arms. Essentially, for any role in Gaza, they would need to transform into a non-militarized entity. I would advise them to do so promptly. Progress is understandably gradual; one cannot resolve a thirty-year-old problem instantly,” Eisenberg commented, drawing a parallel to sociological challenges.

These statements emerge amidst a backdrop of ongoing peace negotiations across the Middle East. Israel is actively engaged in discussions to address the situation with Hezbollah in Lebanon, while the U.S. is conducting talks with Iran.

The article also references the specific objectives Israel has outlined for a peace deal with Iran, which include restrictions on uranium enrichment and missile capabilities.

Prime Minister Netanyahu previously indicated that Israel and the United States are in “full coordination” as these negotiations progress. He stated during a security cabinet meeting that both nations share common goals, with the paramount objective being the removal of all enriched material from Iran and the cessation of its uranium enrichment capabilities.

Regarding the nuclear issue, former Israeli National Security Advisor Yaakov Amidror reiterated Israel’s firm stance, asserting that “weaponized uranium must leave Iran” and that “the Iranians must not be allowed to enrich uranium.”

Beyond the nuclear program, Israeli analysts have identified Iran’s ballistic missile program as an equally critical security concern for Israel.
