The defender sustained medial ligament damage, ruling him out for the remainder of the season. This unfortunate turn of events means White will not be available for England’s World Cup campaign.
Arsenal’s medical team is currently managing White’s recovery and rehabilitation program. The club aims for him to be fully fit for the start of their preseason preparations.
The injury also means White will be absent from the UEFA Champions League final, where Arsenal is scheduled to face PSG.
Ben White sustained the injury in the first half of Arsenal’s Premier League match against West Ham United on Sunday, which Arsenal won 1-0.
