SouthernWorldwide.com – Following the revelation that law enforcement had been summoned to the residence of former MLB pitcher Carl Pavano and his ex-wife on nine occasions over the past two years, more disturbing allegations have surfaced against Pavano.

Initially, Pavano was accused of exhibiting “controlling behavior,” which included verbal abuse, restricting his ex-wife’s access to funds, and threatening to take their children during a contentious prenuptial agreement dispute.

While their divorce was officially finalized in December, a new court filing submitted by Pavano’s ex-wife, Alissa, claims that Pavano engaged in deeply unsanitary acts. These allegations state that Pavano would urinate in her shampoo bottles and “intentionally soiled the bed in which Plaintiff sleeps during her parenting time by having his female sex partners occupy the bed,” as reported by CT Insider.

Furthermore, the filing alleges that Pavano then “removed all clean linens from the house so that Plaintiff is unable to have a hygienically clean and safe bed during her parenting time.”

In a separate incident, shortly after divorce papers were served, the former pitcher reportedly sent photos of “multiple firearms laid out on the kitchen table” to Alissa and their children via a group chat.

The former couple currently shares joint custody of their three children, alternating weeks with them in a home located in Fairfield, Connecticut. Pavano holds ownership of this property through a trust.

Alissa has also contended that the former pitcher coerced her into signing the prenuptial agreement, which she describes as one-sided.

The legal team representing Alissa stated in a brief, as cited by the New York Post, that “A prenuptial agreement is an acceptable way for individuals, prior to marriage, to condition how their financial interests and responsibilities will be determined after marriage.”

They further elaborated, “It should not be an acceptable way for a monied spouse who has already started a family with his significant other to force her to give up her financial independence, and then to extract financial advantages in the premarital agreement under the threat of taking the minor children away from her and leaving her destitute.”

Carl Pavano’s career in Major League Baseball included stints with the Montreal Expos, Florida Marlins, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, and Minnesota Twins. He was recognized as an All-Star in 2004. Throughout his career, he maintained an ERA of 4.81. His most lucrative contract was with the Yankees, but his tenure with the team was marked by inconsistency, with only 26 starts in four seasons, and he is widely regarded as one of their less successful signings.
