SouthernWorldwide.com – Following the tragic drowning of influencer Connor Murphy in Thailand on July 7, authorities discovered a deeply unsettling state of disarray at the luxury rental home he shared with his girlfriend, Bee.

Footage captured by Viral Press revealed alarming scenes within the property, including a viscous, black, tar-like substance smeared across various kitchen appliances. The footage also showed overflowing bins filled with unsanitary trash and heavily stained sofas.

The walls and ceiling of the high-end residence in Samut Prakan were visibly marked with streaks of gray and yellow paint. The Bangkok Post reported that the home was previously valued at approximately $658,000, equivalent to 22 million baht.

The kitchen area, as depicted in the video, was strewn with pots, tools, and bowls. Essential kitchen equipment such as a kettle and blender were also covered in the unhygienic black residue.

In addition to the substantial piles of garbage, a cardboard box was found overflowing with bottles, cans, and other discarded items.

In a shocking turn of events, the 32-year-old influencer reportedly drowned after entering a lake, according to information from the Bangkok Post.

Police in Samut Prakan province, located about 16 miles south of Bangkok, were dispatched to the scene on Tuesday afternoon following reports of a man exhibiting erratic behavior, as detailed by the Bangkok Post and Thairath.

A staff member from the residential village recorded a video of Murphy prior to him entering a nearby lake, according to Khaosod English.

The fitness influencer had allegedly been involved in an altercation with a security guard at the rental property, the Bangkok Post reported.

Eyewitnesses informed Khaosod English that Murphy swam for several minutes before appearing to lose his strength. They also stated that they did not attempt to enter the water due to the lake’s significant depth, exceeding 10 meters, or nearly 33 feet.

Divers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation conducted a search for approximately 30 minutes before locating Murphy at a distance of about 20 meters from the shore.

Police informed Thai media that an initial inspection of Murphy’s body revealed no apparent signs of assault. His body was subsequently transported to Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The full autopsy and toxicology results are still pending, as noted by Khaosod English.

Murphy and his girlfriend had been residing in the luxury villa under a three-month rental agreement, according to the Bangkok Post.

Bee informed the police that the damage to the property appeared to have occurred overnight while she was asleep in a separate room, the Bangkok Post reported.

Murphy had amassed a significant following, with over 2.7 million subscribers across YouTube and Instagram, platforms where he shared bodybuilding and fitness-related content.

He identified himself as part of the “looksmaxxing” community, a subculture predominantly associated with males and the creator Clavicular. This community focuses on fitness and enhancing physical appearance, sometimes through extreme methods.

His social media accounts seem to have last been updated on July 3, when he posted a video of himself kicking a soccer ball indoors at a luxury residence.

Murphy’s final YouTube post was made six days prior to his death, according to available reports.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death and the condition of the rental property is ongoing.
