SouthernWorldwide.com – The latest episode of “Monday Night Raw” delivered a series of impactful moments, from Roman Reigns’ planned “acknowledgement ceremony” for Jacob Fatu to a historic AAA Mega Championship defense and evolving rivalries.

Roman Reigns had intended for Jacob Fatu to appear in the ring for an acknowledgement ceremony on “Monday Night Raw.” This plan, however, was met with reservations from both general manager Adam Pearce and Jimmy Uso.

Reigns soon discovered the truth behind the adage, “Be careful what you wish for.” Despite a pre-arranged contract signing that stipulated Fatu must “acknowledge” Reigns after the latter’s loss of the World Heavyweight Championship, Fatu had other intentions.

Instead of adhering to the agreement, Fatu opted for a violent confrontation. He disregarded Jey Uso’s appeals to reconsider his actions, instead delivering multiple headbutts to Uso.

“You think? You want me to come and acknowledge you, Roman?” Fatu questioned. “Hell no! You’re going to beat that acknowledgement out of me.”

Fatu was resolute, showing no interest in any attempts to de-escalate the situation. He approached the ring with unyielding intensity and immediately engaged Reigns. The two exchanged blows, with Reigns initially appearing to gain the upper hand.

Reigns utilized a chair multiple times in an effort to force Fatu’s acknowledgement. However, the “Samoan Werewolf” remained unfazed by the onslaught.

When Reigns attempted a spear, he was met with a superkick and the devastating Tongan death grip. This marked a turning point, signaling the beginning of the end for the “Tribal Chief.” Fatu taunted Reigns as he continued his aggressive assault.

Fatu then executed a powerful powerbomb, driving Reigns through the announce table. The attack did not cease there, as he applied another Tongan death grip to Reigns while WWE officials attempted to intervene.

As Fatu was leaving the ring, he noticed the Usos tending to Reigns. In a swift and sudden move, he sprinted back and sent all three men crashing through the barricade.

Seth Rollins Attempts to Mend Relationship with Street Profits

Seth Rollins made his presence felt in a six-man tag match, aiding the Street Profits in their victory against The Vision. Rollins took out Bron Breakker from ringside, allowing Angelo Dawkins to secure the win with a roll-up on Austin Theory.

Following the match, Rollins entered the ring to help Dawkins up. However, as Breakker re-entered the ring and prepared for a spear, Rollins stepped aside, leaving Dawkins to absorb the impact.

Montez Ford expressed his confusion and disbelief regarding Rollins’ actions. Later, Rollins engaged in a conversation with Ford and Dawkins backstage.

“If you boys are serious about getting the tag titles off The Vision, then it’s time we talked,” Rollins stated to Dawkins and Ford.

Ford indicated a lack of willingness to collaborate, stating there was no “we” in their conversation. Dawkins, however, seemed more open to hearing Rollins out.

Rollins acknowledged that he had been “wrong” in previously advising the Street Profits to keep their business private.

“You know, Seth, you’re every single thing they say about you,” Ford remarked. “Everybody. The greatest in our generation. A revolutionary. But you know what they also say? You’re not to be trusted. We don’t need your a– to win the tag team championship. Bet on that.”

The Street Profits are set to challenge for the tag team championships in two weeks, facing off against Logan Paul and Austin Theory.

AAA Mega Championship Defended on Raw

The AAA Mega Championship, widely regarded as the most prestigious title in Lucha Libre Worldwide (AAA) and potentially across all of Lucha Libre, saw its first-ever defense on WWE programming Monday night.

Dominik Mysterio put the championship on the line against Original El Grande Americano. Mysterio capitalized when Original El Grande Americano was distracted by El Grande Americano. He then executed the 619 followed by a frog splash to secure the victory.

This title defense occurred shortly after WWE announced a two-night Triplemania event scheduled for September, marking the first time AAA’s premier event will span over two nights.
