The Official Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, provided further details.
He stated that a number of hostile drones targeted the passenger building (T1) at Kuwait International Airport due to what he termed “criminal Iranian aggression.”
The result of this aggression was significant material damage to the building and injuries to several individuals, who subsequently received the necessary medical care.

They are coordinating their efforts with relevant authorities and are in a state of complete readiness to respond to any developments.

These Iranian hostilities come at a significant time, occurring more than three months after the commencement of U.S. military actions against the Islamic Republic.
In a statement released on a Tuesday, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) indicated that American forces had engaged in “self-defense strikes” against Iran.
CENTCOM reported that U.S. forces successfully neutralized multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones.
The U.S. also conducted self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in retaliation for attempted attacks by Iran across the Middle East on June 2.
According to CENTCOM’s release, Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors, but all of them failed to reach their intended targets.
Specifically, two Iranian missiles fired towards Kuwait reportedly fell short or broke apart during their trajectory.
Additionally, three missiles launched at Bahrain were swiftly intercepted by U.S. and Bahraini air defense forces.
The statement also noted that moments prior, U.S. Central Command forces had shot down three one-way attack drones launched by Iran. These drones were directed towards civilian mariners transiting regional waters.
American forces also carried out self-defense strikes on an Iranian military ground control station located on Qeshm Island.
CENTCOM confirmed that no U.S. personnel were harmed during these operations.
The command emphasized that its forces remain vigilant and prepared to defend against any unwarranted Iranian aggression during the ongoing ceasefire.
CENTCOM also posted on X, stating that an additional wave of Iranian drones attempting to attack U.S. forces in Kuwait did not reach their intended targets.
