SouthernWorldwide.com – A 39-year-old man has entered a plea of not guilty to charges related to allegedly threatening Prince Andrew. The incident is said to have occurred near the former prince’s new residence on the royal family’s Sandringham estate.
Alex Jenkinson, aged 39, faces accusations of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behavior towards Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew had his royal titles removed last year by King Charles III. This action was taken due to his associations with Jeffrey Epstein.
Jenkinson is charged with two counts. He is accused of threatening Prince Andrew on Wednesday. Additionally, he is accused of threatening another man on Tuesday.
The former Duke of York is expected to provide testimony in the trial. The trial is scheduled to take place on July 29. It will be held at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Prince Andrew was reportedly yelled at by a masked individual. This occurred while he was walking his dogs near his home. The Daily Telegraph reported on the incident.
“Officers attended, and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon,” a police statement confirmed. The police statement detailed the actions taken by law enforcement.
This event transpires just three months after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as he is now known, was arrested. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. This charge was connected to his ties to Jeffrey Epstein and his tenure as the UK’s trade envoy.

Prince Andrew relocated to Sandringham earlier this year. This move came after he was asked to vacate his residence at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. The transition marked a significant change in his living arrangements.
Virginia Giuffre, who was Prince Andrew’s primary accuser, made claims of being coerced into sexual activity with the royal. She stated this occurred three times, beginning when she was 17 years old. Her accusations were central to the public scrutiny he faced.
Prince Andrew has consistently denied all accusations leveled against him. However, he reached a settlement with Ms. Giuffre in 2022. This settlement resolved her civil sexual assault lawsuit. Ms. Giuffre later died by suicide in 2025.
Jenkinson appeared in court remotely. He did so from the King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre in Norfolk on Friday. His arm was in a sling during the appearance.
He did, however, plead guilty to a separate charge. This charge was failing to provide a specimen of blood while in custody. This plea relates to an incident during his detention.
Jenkinson was released on bail. Several conditions were imposed upon his release. He is prohibited from entering the county of Norfolk. He is also forbidden from attempting any contact with Prince Andrew.
Furthermore, Jenkinson must maintain a distance of 500 meters from several significant locations. These include Sandringham, Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, Windsor Castle, and Highgrove. These restrictions are designed to ensure no further incidents occur.
