SouthernWorldwide.com – Debates about the all-time rankings of professional athletes within specific sports are common among friends. Some individuals are placed on top 10 lists, while others are evaluated using the “Mount Rushmore” principle.

Fans of professional wrestling are no different in their assessments. For those who dedicate decades to watching wrestling multiple times a week, championships, legacy, and the sport’s impact are significant factors. How professional wrestlers are remembered by their fans is also a crucial aspect for the wrestlers themselves.

Nikki Bella, a WWE Hall of Famer, recently shared her thoughts on what she hopes fans will recall about her career when she eventually retires. She expressed a desire to be remembered for her fearlessness and her willingness to use her voice.

“I would love definitely to be remembered as fearless, as someone who wasn’t scared to use her voice, someone who wasn’t scared to pave the ways, someone who wasn’t scared to stand up to all the hate, who can still be her even when people try to tear you down,” Bella stated. She recently took on the role of Chief Margarita Officer for Madam Paleta Tequila.

“What I’ve realized, and this is in any industry and this is throughout time, it’s never easy to be first or be the loudest about something. And there’s so many people who helped pave the way before us but when you’re at the forefront or when you’re at the face of that, you take on everything that comes with it – hate, love, support, everything.”

Bella elaborated on how this aligns with her “Fearless” Nikki persona, emphasizing her persistence. “I think that’s where I truly live up to being ‘Fearless’ Nikki, I just don’t stop. Even when I’m not at my best or when I’m at my greatest. I hope at the end of the day, people can look back and respect that too – even the ones who can be so disrespectful. They see things in such a different way and they really just don’t know. I hope to be remembered as that over anything.”

Bella acknowledged that when she ultimately decides to retire permanently, fans will likely focus on her championship wins and overall achievements.

During her career, she held the Divas Championship twice, with one reign famously lasting a record 300 days. In 2020, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside her sister, Brie Bella.

However, she emphasized that the impact she made on the sport holds greater significance to her than any individual title. “That is better than any championship I could ever win, ever,” she declared.
