SouthernWorldwide.com – Pro wrestling star Shotzi has opened up about her decision to sign with Major League Wrestling (MLW), citing the company’s understanding of her unique character and the creative freedom it offers as key factors in her satisfaction.
Shotzi, known for her distinctive “devil-may-care” style, made her debut in MLW in June of the previous year. This move came just a month after her departure from WWE, where her contract had expired.
Her initial appearance was at the Summer of the Beasts event. Approximately nine months later, she officially committed to a contract with MLW. Shotzi’s energetic and extreme wrestling persona has undoubtedly injected a fresh dynamic into the MLW women’s division.

Reflecting on her choice to join MLW, Shotzi expressed that it felt like the opportune moment and the right environment for her career. She stated that MLW immediately welcomed her and demonstrated a clear understanding of her character.
“They immediately brought me in, and they immediately understood my character, and I was just having so much fun that when they asked me to sign I was just like, ‘You know what? Yeah, let’s make this official.’”
Shotzi further elaborated that she is currently experiencing some of the most enjoyable moments of her professional wrestling career. This enjoyment stems from the significant creative and wrestling freedom she possesses within the promotion.
“I’m having a blast. Just like, the creative freedom that I have, the wrestling freedom that I have to just be everywhere,” she shared. “I feel like I’m getting my wrestling fix finally. I’m traveling the world and having some of the most amazing matches – matches that I’m so truly proud of. I really just love the match list that I’m creating. I’m just so proud of.”
Fans can look forward to seeing Shotzi in action as “MLW Fusion” is set to debut on Veeps this Saturday night. She expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity to introduce more viewers to the promotion.
“I love that MLW is so easily accessible now,” Shotzi commented. “You can catch us everywhere – YouTube, beIN Sports, Veeps. I love that we have so many partners, and you can see us everywhere. Getting the visibility for MLW everywhere is just like so cool to see.”
