SouthernWorldwide.com – President Donald Trump has been declared “fully fit” for all presidential duties following his annual physical examination, which concluded he is in “excellent health.”

The findings were detailed in a memo released by his physician on Friday, after the president underwent his yearly check-up earlier in the week at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Navy Capt. Sean P. Barbabella, the president’s physician, stated in the memo that “President Donald Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”

Barbabella further elaborated that Trump’s “demanding daily schedule, including multiple high-level meetings, public engagements and regular physical activity, continues to support his overall well-being.” He added that both “Cognitive and physical performance are excellent.”

The physician definitively concluded, “He is fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”

The comprehensive evaluation encompassed various diagnostic studies, laboratory testing, and consultations with a total of 22 specialty providers.

According to the report, Trump, who will turn 80 in June, stands 75 inches tall and weighs 238 pounds. His vital signs include a resting heart rate of 73 beats per minute, a blood pressure reading of 105/71 mmHg, and an oxygen saturation level of 98% on room air.

The examination did not reveal any significant health concerns.

Barbabella did note the presence of scarring on Trump’s right ear, a result of a gunshot wound sustained during an assassination attempt in 2024.

Additionally, the physician reported mild swelling in the lower legs, which he indicated had shown improvement compared to the previous year.

A neurological examination was conducted, which demonstrated “normal mental status.” This included a cognitive screening where Trump reportedly scored a perfect 30 out of 30.

Barbabella also observed bruising on the president’s hand, describing it as “consistent with minor soft tissue irritation related to frequent handshaking in the setting of aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention.”

The physician reported that Trump’s laboratory results showed no significant abnormalities.

Trump’s medical history was also highlighted, noting his “lifelong abstinence from tobacco and alcohol.”
