SouthernWorldwide.com – Former NFL Pro Bowler and sports broadcaster Marcellus Wiley was arrested on Saturday, facing charges of domestic battery.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Wiley, according to court records. He is currently being held without bond.
No further details regarding Wiley’s arrest have been released.
This development follows a recent Rolling Stone article published in April 2026, which detailed accusations of sexual assault by four women against Wiley.
Wiley has previously been involved in a lawsuit filed by three women who alleged he raped them during his time at Columbia University, where he played college football.
He has publicly denied these allegations on his podcast, “More To It with Marcellus Wiley,” asserting he possesses evidence to disprove what he termed “alleged misrepresentations.”
During his time at Columbia, Wiley also dismissed the accusations as “B.S.”
Marcellus Wiley is married to Annemarie Wiley, a former star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
The Rolling Stone report indicates that two of the women accusing Wiley of sexual assault claim the incidents occurred between 1995 and 1999.
Another woman alleged that Wiley groomed her starting when she was 13 years old, during his tenure with the Buffalo Bills. She claims he subsequently raped her at the age of 18 in Dallas, after flying her out while he was playing for the Cowboys, as reported by Rolling Stone.
“Marcellus Wiley raped me on my 18th birthday, after grooming me from the age of 13,” the victim stated, adding that he referred to her as ‘little momma.’ “If Columbia had properly pursued the complaints… I would never have been groomed and raped.”
Additionally, a former production assistant at ESPN, where Wiley has worked as a broadcaster alongside FOX Sports, accused him of deception. She alleged that Wiley misled her into believing they were meeting in a hotel room for a work-related discussion in 2009, but claims he sexually assaulted her during that encounter.
“The assault was devastating to me, and I will live with the effects to this day,” the fourth woman stated in a court filing, as per Rolling Stone.
Wiley was selected as the 52nd overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft out of Columbia, joining the Bills for his initial four NFL seasons.
He earned his sole Pro Bowl selection in 2001 with the San Diego Chargers, where he played for three years. His NFL career also included stints with the Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars, concluding after the 2006 season.
