SouthernWorldwide.com – Three sisters were tragically found dead in the sea near Brighton beach last week, prompting a thorough investigation by police into the mysterious circumstances of their demise. Their grieving father has since shared a deeply emotional tribute to his daughters.
The identified sisters are Jane Adetoro, aged 36, Christina Walters, aged 32, and Rebecca Walters, aged 31. All three hailed from the Uxbridge area of London. Their bodies were discovered in the water close to the Black Rock car park in the early hours of Wednesday morning, as confirmed by Sussex Police.
This devastating incident has sent shockwaves through both the Brighton and London communities. The sisters’ father, Joseph, released a heartfelt statement, describing his daughters as “unique and precious individuals.”
“Today, with a heart overflowing with sorrow and love, I stand to pay tribute to my beloved daughters — Jane, Christina, and Becky — whose lives were cut short so tragically, far too soon,” Joseph stated, his words conveying immense grief.
“There are no words that can adequately capture the profound pain of losing three daughters at the peak of their lives. Jane, Christina, and Becky were more than just daughters to me; they were my source of joy, my anchor of strength, and the radiant light that illuminated our family with happiness and love,” he added, his voice a testament to the deep bond he shared with them.
Authorities have indicated that, at this current stage, there is no evidence suggesting any criminality or the involvement of a third party. Nevertheless, detectives are diligently pursuing extensive inquiries to ascertain how the women ended up in the water.
Specialist detectives are meticulously reviewing hundreds of hours of CCTV footage. They are also working to retrace the women’s final known movements, spanning the period between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, in an effort to piece together the events leading up to the tragedy.

“I am aware that this incident has deeply affected the local community in Brighton, as well as across the country. I want to reassure the public that we will conduct a thorough investigation, leaving no stone unturned, to fully comprehend what transpired during those tragic early hours of Wednesday morning,” Hays stated, emphasizing the commitment to uncovering the truth.
The Superintendent also made a plea for privacy for the Walters family during this incredibly difficult time as the investigation progresses. He stressed the importance of allowing them space to grieve.
