SouthernWorldwide.com – Authorities have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the murder of Ann Widdecombe, a former British Member of Parliament and a well-known figure from reality television.
Widdecombe, aged 78, was discovered deceased at her residence on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park in southwest England on Thursday. According to reports, she succumbed to serious injuries.
The identity of the arrested individual has not yet been disclosed by the police.

They also mentioned her support for numerous causes, particularly animal charities.
This incident marks the second time in the past decade that a serving British Member of Parliament has been murdered.
During the 2016 Brexit campaign, Labour MP Jo Cox was tragically killed, shot and stabbed by an individual with neo-Nazi affiliations. In 2021, Conservative MP David Amess was fatally stabbed by an assailant influenced by the Islamic State terror group.
