Brock Lesnar Returns to WWE, Attacks Oba Femi

SouthernWorldwide.com – Brock Lesnar made a surprising return to WWE on “Monday Night Raw,” just one month after he appeared to be retiring following his loss to Oba Femi.

Femi was preparing to host his weekly open challenge for any Raw competitor. As he entered the ring, Lesnar launched a surprise attack from behind, sending the crowd in Greensboro, North Carolina, into a frenzy.

Lesnar executed four F-5 maneuvers on Femi, catching “The Ruler” completely off guard. Lesnar then smiled as Femi writhed in pain from the repeated finishing moves.

It had seemed that Lesnar was genuinely retired after his loss at WrestleMania 42. Even Paul Heyman was convinced that Lesnar’s professional wrestling career was over, as he was seen shedding tears in the ring when the two embraced.

“Oh, did I forget to mention that BRRRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR decided to do something about Oba Femi?” Heyman later posted on X. “My apologies. It must have slipped my mind!”

“You know wrestlers, we never really retire,” Heyman stated. “It’s always in the back of our heads that we can go out there and have one more match. One thing about this business too, man, it’s hard to leave money on the table.”

“So, if somebody comes to Brock Lesnar with the right number for one more match, I’m sure Brock Lesnar could suck it up for five minutes and go out there and get it done. I can suck it up for five minutes and go out and get it done.”

Heyman then presented a contract to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce for a rematch between Lesnar and Femi at Clash in Italy. He indicated that Lesnar’s name was already on the contract, and Pearce only needed Femi’s signature.

“Tribal Combat” is coming to Clash in Italy

“Monday Night Raw” has often concluded with either Roman Reigns or Jacob Fatu calling each other out, leading to one man attacking the other to end the show. This week, however, the scenario unfolded differently.

Fatu began the night by heading to the ring while Adam Pearce attempted to persuade Reigns that it was time to fire Fatu due to his actions the previous week. However, the original plan was abandoned. Jey and Jimmy Uso emerged behind Fatu to confront him.

Jimmy Uso attempted to de-escalate the situation with Fatu, but Jey Uso showed no hesitation. He entered the ring armed with a chair. It appeared Fatu would easily overcome The Usos until Reigns joined the confrontation.

The Bloodline faction united to send a clear message to Fatu. As Pearce stepped forward to officially announce Fatu’s termination, he seized the microphone and addressed Reigns directly. He proposed “Tribal Combat.”

Reigns seemingly accepted, and the match was set for Clash in Italy on May 31, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line once again.

“Tribal Combat” has historically been a match type primarily contested among members of the Bloodline faction to determine a new “Tribal Chief.” Reigns has participated in both previous matches, defeating Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa. Both were compelled to acknowledge him as their “Tribal Chief” after their defeats.

Fatu will face a similar obligation if he loses to Reigns for a second consecutive time.

Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker’s feud intensifies

Seth Rollins arrived on Raw with a direct challenge for Bron Breakker, asserting that Breakker could not defeat him on his own. Instead, he encountered Austin Theory, a fellow member of The Vision.

Rollins acknowledged that he had no allies on Raw and would have to face The Vision by himself. At least one individual appeared to be in Rollins’ corner: Angelo Dawkins, a member of the Street Profits tag team.

“Look fam, we ain’t gotta be friends. Hey, we ain’t gotta trust each other. I can’t speak for ‘Tez, but last week, good looking out,” Dawkins told Rollins before his match against Theory.

Rollins expressed understanding that he had no one backing him but thanked Dawkins for his words and apologized for bearing the brunt of Breakker’s spear the previous week.

The match between Rollins and Theory led to the conclusion of Raw, with Rollins aiming to inflict as much damage as possible before Theory and Logan Paul defend the tag titles against the Street Profits at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Rollins secured the victory over Theory with a pedigree.

As Paul entered the ring to attack Rollins, Dawkins intervened to make a save. The situation quickly turned against Dawkins, allowing Montez Ford to reluctantly get involved. Ford questioned Dawkins’ involvement and then saved him from Breakker’s spear.

Rollins re-entered the ring and began confronting Breakker. However, following a distraction from Paul, Breakker delivered a spear. Rollins and Breakker then engaged in a physical altercation, ultimately being separated by Pearce and officials.
