Patel stressed that the goal is not to replace human personnel but to supplement their efforts. AI serves to sharpen their focus and expedite the pace of investigations, akin to putting a star player like Babe Ruth on the field rather than keeping them on the bench.
The FBI is now more effectively identifying and arresting fraudsters, scammers, and drug traffickers who attempt to conceal their identities, with AI playing a crucial role. With the assistance of an Enterprise AI assistant, the FBI has achieved significant cost reductions, cutting $300 million in spending and identifying over $1.2 billion in potential contract ceiling savings.
