These recalled capsules were sold through the official Rosabella website and their TikTok shop. Additionally, they were available for purchase on online platforms such as Ebay and Shein, along with other retailers.
Moringa powder is derived from the moringa tree, a plant that thrives in warm climates globally. The leaves and pods of this tree are known to be rich in several essential nutrients, as noted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Products made from moringa are often used in the preparation of beverages. These beverages are traditionally consumed for the management of various health conditions, including ulcers, toothaches, and hypertension.
However, it’s important to note that many of the health claims associated with moringa, particularly those promoted by supplement manufacturers, lack substantial scientific backing. A recent article from the Cleveland Clinic highlighted that more extensive and higher-quality research is necessary.

Government health agencies are issuing a strong recommendation to consumers. They are advised to immediately dispose of any Rosabella moringa powder capsules they may possess. It is also crucial to thoroughly wash any surfaces that might have come into contact with the product.
