SouthernWorldwide.com – Tiger Woods, the renowned 15-time major champion, has reportedly returned to Switzerland. This move is understood to be for the continuation of his rehabilitation efforts following a brief visit back to Florida earlier this month.
According to reports from Celebplanes, Woods’ private Gulfstream V jet departed from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida, on Saturday evening. The aircraft subsequently landed in Switzerland on Sunday, marking his return to the European nation.
Woods was initially seen disembarking from his private plane at Palm Beach International Airport on May 13. At the time, it was widely assumed that his return to the United States signified the conclusion of his overseas treatment. However, this latest development suggests otherwise.
The precise reasons for Woods’ swift trip back to Florida remain unclear. Nevertheless, the timing of his return coincides with his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, announcing her diagnosis with breast cancer. Vanessa is the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump.
Vanessa shared an emotional message on social media, where she referred to Woods as her “strength” as she navigates her recent health challenge. On Friday, she posted a photograph of herself and Woods on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by the caption, “My strength through it all! Family and the closest people to me.”

It will be recalled that the legendary golfer was involved in a two-car accident on Jupiter Island, Florida, on March 27. Following the incident, he was charged with two misdemeanors: driving under the influence with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
While Woods registered a 0.00 blood alcohol content on both breathalyzer samples he provided, his refusal to undergo a urine test led to the separate charge. This legal situation prompted further scrutiny of his personal circumstances.

Just four days after the accident and his subsequent arrest, Woods announced his decision to step away from professional golf. He stated his intention to seek treatment and focus on his health, a move that garnered significant attention from the sports world.
On April 1, Woods was granted permission by a judge to travel out of the country. This authorization was specifically for him to enter into comprehensive inpatient treatment, indicating a structured approach to his recovery.
The golfer has not participated in a competitive round of golf since the 2024 Open Championship. Furthermore, his last successful cut in a major tournament was at the Masters at Augusta National in the same year, highlighting a period of absence from high-level competition.
