SouthernWorldwide.com – Former President Donald Trump is reportedly urging Muslim-majority nations to join the Abraham Accords as a condition for participating in an emerging agreement concerning Iran.

The Abraham Accords represent a series of pacts designed to normalize diplomatic ties between Israel and several Arab and Muslim-majority countries.

Trump stated on Saturday that he had encouraged Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, and Jordan to establish normal relations with Israel during a phone conversation with leaders from the region.

“I stated that, after all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together, it should be mandatory that all of these Countries, at a minimum, simultaneously, sign onto the Abraham Accords,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

The former president also indicated plans to engage in discussions with the leaders of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The UAE and Bahrain were the initial nations to sign the accords back in 2020.

Furthermore, Trump suggested the possibility of Iran eventually becoming a signatory to the Abraham Accords.

“In speaking to numerous of the Great Leaders mentioned above, they would be honored, as soon as our Document is signed, to have the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Abraham Accords. Wow, now that would be something special,” Trump shared on Truth Social.
