SouthernWorldwide.com – As the New York Knicks approach NBA Finals glory, WWE star Danhausen has outlined a series of demands for Mayor Zohran Mamdani, ensuring he receives proper recognition should the team clinch the championship.
Following the Knicks’ decisive victory over the San Antonio Spurs, which put them up 2-0, Danhausen took to X (formerly Twitter) to present his conditions to Mamdani.
“@ZohranKMamdani yes hello it is Danhausen ~ Danhausen needs a giant floating Danhausen balloon ready for the parade that drops pizza and hot dog to all the New Yorkers,” he posted.
Further elaborating on his parade vision, Danhausen added, “Danhausen may be placed in between Snoopy and Garfield.”
In a benevolent twist, Danhausen also requested that Oscar the Grouch be granted a more comfortable living situation.
“PS ~ give the muppet who lives in a garbage can an apartment so he can get off the streets and turn his life around,” he urged.
Danhausen, known for his “very nice, very evil” persona, has a history of “cursing” various entities within the sports world, a practice that has also affected his WWE colleagues and, potentially, the Carolina Hurricanes.
The wrestling personality made an appearance on the video board at the T-Mobile Arena, where he “cursed” the Hurricanes during their Stanley Cup Final Game 3 against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The game saw Vegas emerge victorious in double overtime with a 5-4 score, giving them a 2-1 series lead.
Following the “curse,” Danhausen stipulated that the Hurricanes would need to provide “human monies” for him to “uncause” them.
While the “curse” has spread across the sports landscape, it appears the Knicks have been the most significant beneficiaries of Danhausen’s “uncursing.”
The New York Mets, who experienced a “cursing” earlier in the year, are reportedly still under the influence of Danhausen’s mystical powers.
